Position

The Site Manager role will be to support both the Directors and Contract Managers in co-coordinating all site activities, manage all sub-contractors, and continually monitor and update on site progress to the management team.

The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining best practices and procedures across the business, ensuring they are fit for purpose as the business grows. The candidate will hold excellent communication skills, have the ability to work as part of a team and have confidence to have a positive impact on the Company.

Duties

  • Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis
  • Preparation of site to comply with Company health & safety standards
  • Ensure works are being carried out to meet Company health & safety standards
  • Multi-trade on-site management
  • Ordering of required to site materials in-line with company purchasing procedures, and oversee deliveries
  • Ensure works are being carried out to schedule and budget
  • Act as a point of call for both the client and the contractors
  • Note: Our contracts are nationwide, and travel will be required within the role

The candidate

A successful candidate for this role must have:

  • A relevant trade qualification/experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a management role
  • A sound understanding of safety systems and value the importance of attention to detail within your work
  • Good level of IT knowledge
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid trained
  • Full UK driving licence
