The roof to the Platt Bridge Coop Food store has been subject to numerous patch repairs over the year, which were now failing and causing further leaks into the store. Mahoney Contracts were appointed to overhaul the roof by installing the 20 year guaranteed Sika Decothane Ultra system, alongside replacing and reconfiguring the rainwater pipes to dispel into the existing gulley’s as opposed directly onto the canopy roof.
In addition to the roof works, the existing fascia signage to the store was also in poor condition and an old Coop specification. To minimise future disruption to the store, Mahoney’s were also engaged to safely replace the fascia signage and backboards, whilst always maintaining safe access into the store to ensure continuity of trading.
